Open Door Food Pantry of Perquimans nets $8.5K in grants
The Open Door Food Pantry of Perquimans County has received two grants totaling $8,500 to assist with its mission to help feed healthy, nutritious meals to county residents. The Hertford-based nonprofit received a $5,000 grant from the Northern Albemarle Community Foundation to help fund its Bagley’s Recipes Program and a $3,500 grant from the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation to use providing healthy food and nutrition education, Dina Hurdle, chair of the Open Door Board of Directors said in press releases. ...
