OGDEN, Utah — Ogden kids in need will get a backpack and school supplies thanks to a local charity giveaway event. This year, donations are down, and the need is up. The giveaway event is part of Catholic Community Services’ Backpack Bonanza. Donated backpacks and other school supplies like notebooks and markers are given to kids in need.
