Pets with Potential: Meet Julius, Sunny, and Misses
MIDDLEBURY, Vt. (WCAX) - This week’s Pets with Potential includes a dog, cat, and guinea pig available at Homeward Bound in Middlebury. Hi! My name is Julius. I’m almost 3 years old pooch and I weigh 63 pounds. I have the wiggliest body you can imagine and will whip my tail all around out of excitement. I first came to Homeward Bound as a stray, but was later adopted out to a loving family who happened to live in a very busy area. I grew insecure in the concrete jungle with people everywhere, riding their bikes and skateboards and wearing hats and hoods. It all seemed scary to me. Shelter staff has helped me work on my insecurities around these triggers and I’ve come far in my training. I will still need further training in my new home and someone who is strong enough to walk me on a leash.
