Suspect identified decades after rape at Framingham clothing store, DA says
Middlesex County prosecutors on Tuesday announced they had identified a 71-year-old man as the suspect in a pair of rapes at a Framingham clothing store in December 1989. Stephen Paul Gale was indicted on four counts of aggravated rape, two counts of kidnapping, and one count of armed robbery, Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan announced during a press conference Tuesday morning.
