Baseball Wins a Pair of Conference Tournament Games, Several Athletes Named All-Conference
Hand baseball hosted Lyman Hall in the quarterfinals of the SCC Tournament on May 20 and earned a 1-0 win in 10 innings. Payton Powell and Johnny Reh combined for 11 strikeouts during the two-hit shutout. Paul Calandrelli had a lead-off double in the 10th inning before scoring the winning run on a wild pitch. Tai Nuzzi had two hits, including a double. Both teams combined for only one error.
Softball Players Named All-Shoreline, Baseball Wins Two in Tournament Action
H-K baseball hosted Portland in the Shoreline Conference Tournament quarterfinals on May 20 and won 12-2. Matt Shea pitched six innings of two-hit ball to get his seventh win. Luke Mauri had two hits and three RBI, and Blake Kamoen, Max Selmer, and Ryan Erskine each added two hits in the 12-hit attack.

Sea Dogs storm back for wild win over Yard Goats
Portland, Maine - The Portland Sea Dogs (22-18) exploded for eight runs in the final two frames to comeback and defeat the Hartford Yard Goats (19-20) 11-8 on Wednesday night. Every Sea Dog notched a hit in the fifteen-hit affair while five Sea Dogs' players recorded multi-hit games. Jacob Webb earned his fourth win of the season while Felix Cepeda collected his Eastern League-leading eighth save of the season.
