Becoming Hot and More Humid This Week
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - This afternoon will feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds with highs in the upper 70′s to near 80 as High Pressure slides offshore. This pattern will set us up ushering in warm and increasingly more humid conditions for the rest of the week. Temperatures will sore well into the 80′s tomorrow and may crack 90 on Wednesday. Dew points also creep up into the 60′s by the middle of the week putting a mid-July feel in the air. We can’t rule out an isolated shower or storm, but most will not see any rain tomorrow or Wednesday.

Work on West Rossman Has Started in Hartford
The week of May 20, the first stages of the first of two total road reconstruction projects in the City of Hartford began. The total reconstruct of W. Rossman started with pulverizing the asphalt and starting to work on the replacement of underground utilities. This is the first of two projects which will conclude with the total replacement of Loos Street. Every year, the City attempts to reconstruct two different areas within the city that have the most issues with their utilities and has the lowest PAZER rating based on road condition. These projects normally include the replacement of the utility mains, replacement of any laterals that are either lead or metallic in nature. There is also the replacement of existing sidewalk, curb and gutter, terrace and of course the road.
