HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Showers and thunderstorms in the western part of the Local 4 area Tuesday evening, will gradually lose there steam once the sun sets. After a lull overnight, an upper level low and adjacent cold front will trigger a couple of waves of thunderstorms on Wednesday. The first is expected to develop mid morning into the forenoon over Central Nebraska, pushing into eastern areas of the state through the afternoon. An approaching cold front will produce another line of storms late afternoon, that is projected to sweep through the Tri-Cities by early evening, before sweeping east into the Lincoln area by late evening.
