No one hurt after Durand apartment fire
DURAND, Wis. (WEAU) - No one is hurt after an apartment fire in Durand Saturday evening. According to the Durand Fire Department, the fire happened on the 800 block of 3rd Avenue # in Durand around 8:10 p.m. There were no reported injuries and the Red Cross is working with those affected to provide resources. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Eau Claire Police looking for stabbing suspect
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect in a stabbing incident. According to a news release, last night (6/6/24) at around 10:45, deputies responded to the village of Fairchild for a stabbing involving one victim and one suspect. The suspect fled before law enforcement arrived. Deputies say the suspect was wearing a black sweatshirt and ski mask. The victim was taken to the hospital.
