The Officer’s actions during the incident were found to be reasonable and Burnett County District Attorney Rennicke commended their “bravery and steadfast devotion to service to the community” in a letter he issued on July 22, 2022.

East Central Energy (ECE) is constructing a 6,000-mile fiber network in East Central Minnesota. The project started in late 2021 and has progressed with the replacement of many electrical poles to support the fiber network. So far, ECE has received $19 million in grants, with another $24 million awaiting approval.
