Scott Co. investigators find drugs while arresting wanted man, sheriff says

SCOTT COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) – A man wanted in both Scott and Wise counties was arrested Monday, and investigators report finding meth, cocaine and other drugs in his home.

According to a news release from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, investigators found Michael Landon Raboin, 41, at his Duffield home.

The sheriff’s office searched Raboin’s home at Empire Trailer Court and reported finding the following:

  • 16 ounces of methamphetamine
  • Oxycodone
  • Subutex
  • White powder believed to be cocaine
  • An undisclosed amount of money

Raboin was transported to the Duffield Regional Jail, where the sheriff’s office stated he is being held without bond.

He was charged with the following:

  • Violation of probation
  • Distribution of Schedule I or II narcotic
  • 3 counts of possession of Schedule I or II narcotic
  • Possession of Schedule III narcotic
  • Possession of Schedule I or II narcotic with the intent to distribute
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

The investigation is still ongoing as of Thursday.
