PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A Pennsylvania man was sentenced to at least five years in prison for the severe physical abuse of a 3-year-old boy. Timofey Freint of Lititz was sentenced to 5 3/4 years to 12 years in prison in connection with the incident, the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office said on June 4. ELKTON — A 30-year Rising Sun High School teacher received a suspended six-month sentence and was placed on 15 months of supervised probation Wednesday, after pleading guilty to assaulting a 13-year-old boy after the child and a friend pranked him at his residence. A man was charged with simple assault, robbery, harassment and theft after a June 4 incident in Lancaster County that police say was domestic violence-related. Police in West Earl Township received a 911 call around 7 p.m. that day from a woman who said she was assaulted in her vehicle by Michael Ermold, 57, and that he took her purse.
