A Wise County man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine and illegally possessing firearms. Randall Scott Hileman, 56, previously pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute and possession with the intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine, to possessing with the intent to distribute and distributing methamphetamine, and to possession of firearms by a convicted felon.

HPD Investigating Kona Aquatic Center Attempted Robbery
Hawai’i Island Police are investigating an attempted robbery and assault that recently occurred in the Kona Aquatics center parking lot. On Sunday, November 3, Kona patrol officers responded to the center following a report of a 70-year-old male victim who had sustained visible injuries to his head and neck. He reported that while in the parking lot, he was approached by an unknown male who was holding a knife and demanding that the victim give him his wallet. When the victim refused, the suspect struck him on the head with a closed fist and cut his neck with the knife causing a 12 cm laceration. The victim was transported to Kona Community Hospital where he was reported to be in stable condition.

Weekly Safety Report: Drug Trafficking Incidents in Floyd County, Kentucky
Two incidents of drug trafficking were reported in Floyd County, Kentucky this week. In the first incident, a woman from the Harold community, Jill Adkins, was arrested after deputies discovered she was trafficking drugs. Over 40 grams of methamphetamine, along with other drug paraphernalia, were found during a search. Adkins was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance. In the second incident, a man from Auxier, Jonathan Martinez, was sentenced to 120 months in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.
