Recently released bodycam footage shows the moment that two officers and their K-9s arrested a double murder suspect in a wooded area in Florida last Thursday.

The video shows officers locating Angel Gabriel Cuz-Choc, who was hiding less than two miles from where his girlfriend, Amalia Coc Choc de Pec, 36, and her daughter, Estrella Pec Coc, 4, were found dead.

In the footage, officers can be seen searching through thick brush looking for Cuz-Choc, while their K-9s push him to them. The police dogs could be seen biting his jacket, while officers pulled him from under trees.

His girlfriend and her daughter were found dead less than 24 hours after Cuz-Choc went missing, and shortly after his arrest, police say he confessed to both murders, WTSP reported.

The victims were found stabbed to death on Wednesday afternoon at a mobile home in Dover, Florida, WTSP reported.

The little girl was found dead inside the home, and her mother was in the backyard lying “in her own puddle of blood,” Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister shared.

Investigators have found evidence that leads them to believe the woman fought back, including a bloody handprint located inside the mobile home.

“I am taken back by the level of pure evil that has transpired when our suspect brutally murdered an innocent woman and a young child,” Chronister said during a press conference.

Investigators found a bloodied shirt while searching for Cuz-Choc, and Chronister said they were confident it was his.

“His efforts were no match for our team of dedicated detectives who left no stone unturned in their search,” he said in a press release . “There wasn’t a square inch within this perimeter that our deputies did not have covered.”

Officials shared that the victims and Cuz-Choc had arrived from Guatemala nearly three months ago. The child was also not Cuz-Choc’s.

Currently, Cuz-Choc is facing two charges of murder in the first degree for what officials called “heinous and vile murders.”

More charges are expected to come when the investigation is finished.
