Boys golf Section III champions crowned; 87 golfers advance to state qualifiers
The Section III spring champions were crowned on Monday and 87 golfers made the cut to reach the state qualifying match. The North Division team sectional title was won by Bishop Ludden (469). Manlius Pebble Hill (476) took second and Pulaski (480) came in third. The West was won by South Jeff for large schools and Alexandria for small schools and Central Valley Academy took the East Division team sectional title.

The “Too Sweet” singer is headlining the first show of the 2024 season at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview (formerly known as St. Joe’s Amp) on Tuesday, May 21. The concert is sold out, so a huge crowd is expected — the Amp’s official capacity is 17,500 but sometimes they pack in a few hundred more on the lawn — and traffic will likely be heavy on Interstate 690 as fans arrive.
