Brown named Lawrence Academy football coach

Seth Twarog and Quabbin track teams want to make noise in postseason
Quabbin track and field's meet this week against Lunenburg reflected the energy of their season as a whole and what they look to bring into the last few weeks of the season. Although the girls lost, the little things like teamwork and effort were evident and helped to bring everyone together. The boys won and proved their talent and hard work that they have put in throughout the season. A 10-goal game and more: Vote for the High School Girls Lacrosse Player of the Week
Algonquin Regional's Grace Chiota and Bella Roman have been voted the High School Girls Lacrosse Players of the Week. The duo combined to receive over 11,000 votes. Chiota, a junior, had 5 points, including No. 100 of her career, in an 11-9 win over Leominster. Roman chipped in 5 goals and an assist in that victory. Roman had another 5-goal game, including No. 100 of her career, in a 10-8 win over Shrewsbury. Chiotta had 2 goals and an assist in that one.
CCHS fencing advances teamwork and life skills
James Feinberg, 16, brandished his first sword in second grade. As newly elected captain of the Concord-Carlisle High School men’s fencing team, effective this fall, the rising junior will lead the reportedly oldest high school fencing team in the state — a group of competitors Coach Michael Marx calls “a perennial powerhouse.” At the same time, the team is comprised of student athletes at all levels of experience and skill.
