On February 15, 2001, 12-year-old Steven Earl Kraft, Jr. vanished without a trace from his neighborhood in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Steven was last seen between 7 and 8 p.m. that evening, walking his two family dogs near his home on Holly Drive in the Benton Heights area. He was expected to return home around 8 p.m. to have dinner with his family, but never made it back.

After a Monday of changeable sky conditions and warmer temperatures we have a Tuesday that probably goes down as the best weather day of the week so take advantage of that. We are far enough away from both last night's weather system that brought showers and thunderstorms to the Mid Atlantic. That has now weakened and passed to the east. The next weather system and cold front will be impacting the Ohio Valley today so we should be in a good spot. We expect no worse than partly sunny skies today. High temperatures will reach the mid 70s to some lower 80s. Of course look for cooler conditions along south and east facing shorelines.

The Denver City Council learned more Wednesday about the workforce development component of the Denver Asylum Seekers Program. The city has transitioned the way it helps migrants, closing shelters and instead placing 800 people in the asylum program. That includes people who had been staying in non-congregate hotel shelters, all but one of which have closed. New migrant arrivals will not be eligible for the six-month work program until some graduate, according to a presentation by city staff. The city intends to keep 500 people in the work program at a time, according to Tony Anderson, workforce development manager for the city.
