Plans Move Forward For Train System To L.A.
Four cities in the Valley, Cathedral City, Palm Desert, Indio, and Coachella are eyeballing locations to put stations within city limits that would be part of this system. The Banning High baseball team defeated Desert Hot Springs (DHS) twice last week en route to the Desert Valley League (DVL) title. Banning defeated DHS 23-2 and 5-0. In the 23-2 win, Sebastain Osornio, Joe Clark, Quintin Valdivia and Trevor Eisman had two hits each. Osornio pitched four innings of two-hit ball.
