Basil to open classic car dealership in Depew

DEPEW, N.Y. (WIVB) — Joe Basil Chevrolet is putting a vintage spin on car sales with its newest dealership.

On Monday morning, the company announced the grand opening of Basil Classics, which they say will be “the region’s largest indoor classic car facility.” It’s located at 5071 Transit Road in Depew.

The dealership, which will buy and sell vehicles, says prices start at $9,999.

The grand opening of Basil Classics will take place this weekend — 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and then 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.

During the event, Basic Classics will be raffling off a Chevy Corvette.

“We’re calling it ‘Vette for the Vets, with 100 percent of all proceeds to benefit the Veterans One-Stop Center of Western New York,” Joe Basil Chevrolet said in its announcement.
