Local pancake feed proves successful
Over 300 pancake and sausage breakfasts were served up at the annual Delta Lions pancake feed over the weekend. The popular all-you-can-eat breakfast has long offered community members an opportunity to sit and chat, catching up on all the summer’s happenings while consuming stacks of pancakes. Normally held on the fairgrounds, disputes with the current Deltana Fair board led the Lions to move the event to their meeting house along the Alaska Highway. Mother Nature apparently agreed and cleared up the skies, brought in warm sunshine, and kept the wind at bay.
