Accomack shooting leaves woman dead, sends man to hospital: Sheriff
The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office says it is investigating a shooting Monday in Painter that left a woman dead and sent a man to a hospital in Norfolk. The sheriff’s office said in a release that deputies responded to a report of gunshot victims in the 31000 Block of Keller Pond Road in Painter on Dec. 4 at around 3:45 p.m.
Double drive-by shooting reported near Keller Monday afternoon
The Accomack County Sheriff’s Department was called to the scene of an alleged drive by shooting Monday afternoon. The call came in at approximately 3:45. Preliminary reports indicate two were injured in the incident. One was male was reportedly shot in the arm and another female was shot in the neck. Unconfirmed reports say the female died as a result of her injuries.

EXMORE: Exmore’s downtown business community is set to celebrate the holidays by hosting the 2 nd Annual Old-Fashioned Christmas in Exmore, Thursday, December 7 from 5 pm to 8 pm. Virginia State Police investigate pedestrian crash that resulted in a fatality overnight
Thursday afternoon, November 30, 2023 at approximately 2:36 p.m., state police were called to investigate a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on Stone Road, in Northampton County, Eastern Shore. Preliminary investigations reveal that a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta was turning onto Stone road when the driver, twenty-one year old Kori Javon Brooks Davis, of Cape Charles, Virginia, struck a pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian, eighty-four year old Priscilla King Richmond, was med-flight to Norfolk General Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. State police crash reconstruction team responded to the scene to assist in the investigation. The Commonwealth Attorney has been notified and no charges have been placed at this time, the crash still remains under investigation.
