Blowing dust lowers visibility in Champaign, Vermilion counties
DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — Friday's strong winds have caused blowing dust in east central Illinois this afternoon. The Vermilion County Emergency Management Agency reports that wind gusts from 30 to 35 mph have caused dust to blow across open fields. In affected areas, visibility could be reduced to a mile or less.
