(WYMT) - A multi-year project will be celebrated on Saturday when Harlan County unveils free public wi-fi downtown. “The day and age we live in now, its hard to do anything without highspeed broadband,” said Judge-Executive Dan Mosley. “When you think of a downtown setting and how much business takes place in downtown, people having access to highspeed broadband is essential to be able to do business.”

Search warrant leads to drug bust in Harlan Co.
HARLAN CO., Ky. (WYMT) - Three people were arrested after police reportedly found them trafficking drugs. On Tuesday, deputies with the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a home on Hal Street in Cawood. Police arrested one suspect after he tried to get away on foot.
