Syracuse Man Receives 16 Years In Prison For Child Molesting
A Syracuse man will serve 16 years in prison for molesting a child. Thomas Allen Books II, 34, Syracuse, was charged with child molesting, a Level 3 felony, as a lesser included offense of a Level 1 felony. Three additional criminal charges were all dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

Motorcyclist dead after crash on CR 17 in Elkhart County
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. (WSBT) — A motorcyclist is dead after being struck by a car late Thursday morning. The motorcyclist was driving north on CR 17 when a southbound vehicle turning east onto CR 38 struck the motorcycle being ridden by William Hess, 67, of Goshen. Hess was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene according to Elkhart County Sheriff’s office. Police said, the southbound vehicle failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle.
