Crivitz girls shut down Wildcats

LENA — Isabelle Danielczak tossed a six-inning shutout as the Crivitz softball team blanked Lena 11-0 in Monday’s Marinette and Oconto Conference game.

Danielczak allowed just four hits and issued only two walks while striking out 11 Wildcat batters on the day.

Crivitz hung six runs on the Wildcats in the top of the second inning and continued to pile on by plating a pair of runs in both the fourth and sixth innings.

Offensively, the Wildcats racked up 16 hits as a team, with Hattie Frievalt, Taryn Tracy and Lillian Biundo all collecting three base knocks.

Peyton Dorow was the losing pitcher with 16 hits, 11 runs (10 earned), seven walks and three strikeouts across six innings.
