Staunton's Cat Nap Coffee Roasting Cafe announces closing
Ryan Brosmer announced that his coffee shop on Spring Hill Road in Staunton has closed. Cat Nap Coffee Roasting Cafe, which opened in August, 2025, has permanently closed per a post on the shop's Facebook page saying that it was a fun experiment that ran its course. "I'd like to first thank my staff for keeping the cafe running as long as it did," Brosmer said when reached for comment. "I'd also like to thank Queen City Brewing for sharing their space with us. And of course all of the customers who came through. It was a dream come true but one that couldn't last." Brosmer will continue to operate Cat Nap Coffee Roasting based in Staunton's Art Hive "for a longtime coming," he said. "Customers can still shop online and in-store at Art Hive," Brosmer said. His roasting business was also growing. He wanted to find a way to separate the two, so he reached out to Queen City Brewing across the street from the Art Hive
