Use the Short Period of Dry Weather As You Wish
This weekend represents the only 2 day stretch.... until next Thursday/Friday in order to accomplish your outdoor chores or to simply have the option to enjoy being outside without needing an umbrella at your side. The next chance for rain arrives on Monday morning and if your location does not see a shower in the morning, a 2nd opportunity will develop during the afternoon. Tuesday could potentially be a First Alert Weather Day as an impressive late spring cold front works toward our viewing area around daybreak and takes until early Tuesday evening for the storm threat to pass. Wednesday afternoon offers up rain showers only as the back side of the system also offers up a cooler, drier northwest wind that will send temperatures back toward normal or even slightly below normal. Even the Memorial Day weekend looks prone to storms returning from Saturday afternoon through the day on Sunday.

Enjoy The Dry Weather While It Lasts
Our dry weather pattern that is in place for the majority of this weekend will come at a price as temperatures will be more typical of an early summer day and include high humidity levels by late on Sunday. But, for lawn mowing purposes....this is an excellent forecast for you. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms return Monday afternoon as a warm front moves through from southwest to northeast while the more widespread thunderstorm activity waits until late in the afternoon or the evening hours on Tuesday. This potentially severe weather situation may prompt a First Alert Weather Day for the 2nd half of Tuesday until the cold front pushes through the entire viewing area. We will be rewarded with a significant drop in temperatures and humidity behind the front that will last for several days. Right now, the Memorial Day Weekend forecast looks soggy at times with conditions improving on Memorial Day itself...especially by the time you’d want to get the BBQ fired up to enjoy with friends and family.
