Third Suspect Arrested Related to Downtown Lincoln Shooting

LPD public information manager Erika Thomas on Wednesday said 25-year-old Alvin Jones, Jr. was arrested on Friday, following an arrest warrant that was issued last week. LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A 14-year-old was arrested Monday after police said he shoplifted from a Walmart in Lincoln and led officers on a chase. Lincoln Police said officers responded to the Walmart on 27th and Superior streets around 5:30 p.m. on a report of a teenager waving a gun at employees. Officers arrested the teenager after he reportedly led them on a foot pursuit.
