The 15-year-old charged in the case appeared in court Wednesday, along with family members. At the hearing, it was learned that a certification investigation and report had been completed. On Wednesday, the court focused on ensuring the juvenile office and defense were ready for the next week’s certification hearing.

(JEFFERSON COUNTY) Jefferson and surrounding counties are under a Flood Warning from now until Sunday, however, it’s not expected to cause any major problems.
