Hughes headed into junior season at Cumberlands
WILLIAMSBURG — Washington County High School graduate Kobie Hughes is headed into his junior season at the University of the Cumberlands. As a sophomore during the 2023 college football season, Hughes played in all 10 games for the Patriots. He recorded a reception in seven games last season. Hughes, who excelled at Washington County High School prior to moving on to the University of the Cumberlands, hauled in a season-high two catches for 43 yards and a touchdown during a Mid-South Conference matchup versus Georgetown College in 2023.
