Nd place in the 2024 Durango Shootout Piedra division, with a very challenging final game against Rio Rapids 2012G. Jehoran Quintana was District Champion in the javelin. With this performance, the Hilltopper Boys have an athlete qualified in all 20 events competed at State. Los Alamos Geological Society To Meet May 21
Los Alamos Geological Society will feature Luke P. Frash, PhD., EIT., at its upcoming meeting 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 21 at the Los Alamos Christian Church, 92 East Road. Frash, a scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory, will discuss the greater potential of clean geothermal energy. He will introduce the concept and present its potential in order to solicit feedback for a scoping study to assess the viability of constructing the world’s first “X”geothermal system in the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico. Honest, direct, and critical discussion will be encouraged.
