Syphilis cases reached a six-year high in Hamilton County in 2023, according to an April report from the public health department. CINCINNATI (WKRC) - There will be lanes and ramps closed for the Interstate-75/Thru the Valley project starting on Monday:. Single-lane closure on I-75 North and South, between Glendale-Milford Road and the I-275 interchange, beginning at 8 p.m., followed by double-lane closures at 11 p.m., with all restrictions lifted by 6 a.m. the following day. A minimum of one lane in each direction will be maintained during pavement resurfacing.

Area basketball coach completes Flying Pig Marathon while dribbling basketball
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - While running a marathon is a challenge all on its own, a Cincinnati-area girls high school basketball coach completed the race with a little more flair. Lakota East assistant coach Katelyn Haralamos completed the Flying Pig Marathon in just over 5 1/2 hours, all while dribbling a basketball. She did not lose a bet, or come in last place in her fantasy football league, Instead Haralamos chose to compete this way to spread awareness for "Saturday Hoops," a local non-profit that aims to teach basketball to the Tri-State's youth to keep them out of trouble and off of the streets.
