Mendo Pride to celebrate “love and inclusion” in Hopland on May 18
HOPLAND, Ca., 5/7/24 – Mendo Pride will host its second annual LGBTQ Pride event in Hopland on Saturday, May 18, 2024. The family-friendly event features music by KZYX’s Pride Radio, art vendors, fun activities and booths from community organizations followed by a drag show. A talk planned Wednesday in Laytonville is designed to help humans live more peacefully with local wildlife. Called “Living with Wildlife 101,” the talk is scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, at 5:30 p.m. at Harwood Hall in Laytonville, and is presented as a way to learn how to “be a good neighbor to your local wildlife (and) live with, not against,” wild animals.
