CORTLAND, Ohio (WKBN) — After 15 years of business, the owner of a Cortland shop known for its Italian wafer-like cookies has announced it’s closing its doors soon.

Just Pizzelles , currently located on Main Street in Cortland, announced Monday that the business will be closing after this weekend.

Owner Christina Benton says it’s time for her family to “begin to live life,” as she says running the family business has taken up a large amount of time and dedication.

“[We] want to personally say a huge ‘thank you’ for being a part of this journey with us,” the release says. “We couldn’t have done it without you and will forever be grateful.”

Just Pizzelles is no longer taking orders, and its doors will close for the last time this weekend.

“We are now onto our next chapter,” Benton said in the release. “If you don’t know — I do not like goodbyes, so instead, I’ll see you later!”
