Church News: First Christian to host Friends and Family Bingo Night
First Christian Church First Christian Church will host Friends & Family Bingo Night on Saturday, June 1, at 5 p.m. Cost is $1 per card with a limit of 150 cards. Refreshments provided. Last area teams lose soccer playoff games
The area girls soccer season came to an end Thursday when the last two local public school teams still in the state playoffs — Currituck and Perquimans — lost their matches. The No. 13-ranked Currituck County High School Knights were shut out 3-0 by the No. 4-ranked Fike Deacons in the 3A NCHSAA women’s soccer championship tournament.
