Tragic Medford Crash: BMW Passenger Killed, Another Injured; Driver Flees Scene
Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a man and seriously injured another man in Medford early this morning. A tractor-trailer was traveling northwest on Horseblock Road and attempting to make a left turn onto Express Drive North when the tractor-trailer was struck by a 2008 BMW at 1:52 a.m. The driver of the BMW fled on foot.

Suspected Gilgo Beach serial Killer charged with murder of Poughkeepsie woman
LONG ISLAND – Sixty-year-old Rex Heuermann, the suspected “Gilgo Beach Serial Killer” has been charged with the death of Poughkeepsie native Jessica Taylor in 2003. The body of Taylor, an alleged prostitute working in Manhattan went missing in 2003 and was found decapitated and her hands had been cut off. Her body was found in Manorville within a quarter-of-a-mile from the bodies of the original “Gilgo Four” victims.
