Floyd County Gets Bill for Black's Bluff Road Repairs
The Floyd County Commission is expected to approve on Tuesday a budget increase of $106,630 to cover emergency repairs to Black’s Bluff Road. A short section of the road base crumbled just east of Lock & Dam Park and a detour was put in place on April 23. The Rome City Schools Board of Education will hold a first reading Tuesday of its $83.2 million proposed budget for fiscal year 2025.
