Crash damages fire hydrant in Conway-area neighborhood

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) –Diminished water pressure should be expected in a Conway-area neighborhood after a car crashed into a fire hydrant Tuesday morning, Horry County Fire Rescue said .

Crews were called at 10:44 a.m. to Chateau Drive. HCFR said residents should expect reduced water pressure until utility crews can fix the damaged equipment.

No additional information about the crash was immediately available. HCFR has asked everyone to avoid the area so crews can work safely to make the repairs.
