Softball Bears tame Bisons in 3-0 sweep
The UCA softball team proved superior to the Lipscomb Bisons, as the Bears rode into Tennessee and swept Lipscomb in a three-game series over the weekend. The Bears were up to bat first and immediately stacked the bases after a handful of errors. Freshman outfielder Renee Christian reached base on a fielding error and ended up on second base. Junior infielder Kylie Griffin reached base on a throwing error, allowing Christian to advance to third.
Athletic Director Brad Teague to lead Aviation Academy
Starting fall 2024, Brad Teague will become the director of the Aviation Academy, and Matt Whiting will replace Teague as the new Athletic Director. ”I have been a pilot for 20 years. I have been interested in helping UCA start an aviation program for many years. It was a natural fit,” Teague said.
