WENATCHEE — Shauna Field has joined the board of directors of the Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center as it begins serving Okanogan County. Field previously spent 14 years on the board of the Dispute Resolution Center of Okanogan County and worked for 10 years as office manager for the county prosecutor’s office.
The Washington Department of Ecology has issued a Stage 1 – Air Quality Burn Ban in Chelan and Douglas Counties as well as parts of Okanogan County. A Stage 1 Burn Ban prohibits the use of uncertified wood stoves or fireplaces (except when a wood stove is the only source of heat) and permits no outdoor, agricultural or forest burning.
