    Flood Warning extended to Saturday for Neosho River

    COMMERCE, Okla. — The National Weather Service in Tulsa extended its flood warning for the Neosho River near Commerce until Saturday.

    Warm/Breezy Today; Storm Chances Tonight

    At 7:30 a.m. waters were at 19 feet and is expected to continue slowly rising through Wednesday and is expected to crest at 20 feet early Thursday. Waters will fall below flood stage on Saturday morning.

    ODOT working on plan to remove log jam at Twin Bridges area

    Flood stage for the river is 15 feet. Moderate agricultural flooding occurs when the river hits 20 feet.

    Riverview Park will experience moderate flooding and State Highway 125 near the Ottawa County Fairgrounds will be closed.

    The forecast for northeast Oklahoma on Tuesday is sunny with temperatures ranging from 63 to 72 degrees increasing to 74 to 78 degrees with south winds 5 to 15 mph.
