Within one hour, the volunteers assembled into search groups consisting of a total of 10 volunteers. The volunteers efforts included including: walking through swamps, thickets, and the airport tarmac, talking to neighbors, notifying Wautoma Police Department, the Waushara County Sheriff’s Department, utilizing social media and Lost Dogs of Wisconsin (who set live trap for us), WI DNR’s help, and Horizon Optics drone service.
