Warsaw Captures Third Sectional Title In School History
Way back in August, the Warsaw and Fort Wayne Snider football teams met in the season opener. The Panthers controlled the game for a majority of the contest, but it was a fourth-quarter comeback by the Tigers that gave the game its final result. Fast forward three months later, and the two teams met again at Fisher Field with a sectional championship on the line. With Snider 44-7 all-time in same-season rematches, Warsaw was able to buck the trend with yet another comeback in the final 12 minutes to capture a 14-3 win, as well as the third sectional title in school history.
