Good morning mid-Missouri and happy Sunday! Showers and thunderstorms moved into the region early this morning to start off our Sunday on a gloomy note. Heavy rainfall over parts of the Ozarks and Southern Missouri has prompted flash flood watches and warnings this morning. A flash flood watch will continue to be in effect for Morgan, Camden, Miller, and Maries counties until 1 p.m. today. Flood warnings for parts of the Ozarks will continue through Sunday evening as water continues to runoff into streams and rivers throughout the morning and afternoon hours.

WARSAW, Mo. (KY3) -The Benton County Sheriff’s Office has issued an Endangered Silver Advisory for a missing man from Warsaw. John Grant, 82, left his hotel on Highway 83 Sunday to drive to his family farm in southwest Missouri. He only had a quarter tank of gas in his car. He left his wallet and other belongings at the hotel. Grant is possibly heading to Lamar or Liberal.
