CLOVIS, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Four people have been arrested following a shooting that took place in the parking lot of a WinCo in Clovis earlier this month, the Clovis Police Department said on Thursday.

According to police, on April 8 at around 1 a.m., they responded to the WinCo parking lot at Ashlan and Peach avenues for reports of multiple shots fired. When officers arrived, they said they found a man in the parking lot who was shot . The victim was taken to the hospital and his injuries were described as not-life-threatening.

Police say this was a gang-related shooting that took place simply because gang members were in the same place at the same time.

Police say detectives took two of the four suspects in custody on Monday: 42-year-old Adarrius Stevenson Sr of Fresno – and his son, 22-year-old Adarrius Stevenson Jr.

On Thursday, detectives arrested 25-year-old Charles Muhammad of Fresno and 33-year-old Dominique Williams of Clovis.

According to police, there is also an allegation of child endangerment because, during the shooting on April 8, there were two children in an unrelated parked car that was struck by bullets. Neither child was injured.
