Clifton City Commission Meets in Regular Session
The Clifton City Commission met in regular session on Monday, April 22, 2024 at City Hall in Clifton. All commissioners were in attendance, including Mayor Mark Staggs, Vice Mayor Eva Ruth Warren, Tammy Prince, Jeff Letson, and Michael Francis. Also present were City Manager Doug Kibbey and various City Department Heads and office staff.

The Wayne County Special Olympics were held recently at Frank Hughes School in Clifton. All the athletes did a great job, and everyone enjoyed the special day!. The James Harper Courage Award is presented each year at the Special Olympics. James Harper was a very special person in the Harper family and to the community. He was able to show his family and all those he met how to love unconditionally. His family lovingly says that they were so blessed to have him for 51 years.
