GRAY WAS SENTENCED TO A TERM OF 30 DAYS SUSPENDED TO PROBATION FOR FAILURE TO EXERCISE DUE CARE AND WAS SENTENCED TO 11 MONTHS AND 29 DAYS SUSPENDED TO PROBATION FOR THE OFFENSE OF FAILURE TO STOP AT THAT SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT INVOLVING INJURY. COUNT 1 TO RUN CONCURRENT WITH COUNT 2. IN ADDITION, GRAY IS TO PAY $14,521.93 IN RESTITUTION TO THE BENEFIELD FAMILY WHICH IS TO BE PAID THROUGH PROBATION. THE INCIDENT OCCURRED ON AUGUST 26TH AROUND 5:45 AM. DR. BENEFIELD WAS RIDING HIS BICYCLE ON HIGHWAY 64 WHEN HE WAS STRUCK FROM BEHIND BY A JEEP TRAVELING EAST. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TRAVELING EAST AFTER THE ACCIDENT AND WAS LATER LOCATED.

Perry County Man Sentenced to Fourteen Years in Eleven-Member Drug Trafficking Scheme
A federal judge has sentenced a Perry County man to 14 years in federal prison for his role in an organized drug trafficking scheme. Randal Tinin a/k/a “Roho,” 49, of Linden was sentenced to 168 months and five years of supervised release for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of actual methamphetamine and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Allen Daniel, and Deputy Alex Crowe around 4:00 p.m. on six counts of manufacturing, sale, and delivery of the Schedule II drug fentanyl.
