Golden Girls: ‘The Laughs Continue’ coming to Cleveland

CLEVELAND (WJW) — Blanche, Dorothy, Sophia and Rose are reuniting for stage shows across the country and at Cleveland’s Playhouse Square from August 6 to 11.

The promotion for the stage performance titled “ Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue ” has launched a 60-city tour.

“Miami’s sassiest seniors return for one more hurrah in an all new show written by Robert Leleux and directed by Eric Swanson,” reads a description. “Imagine what the gals would be doing today if they were still alive. Get ready for the hilarious shenanigans.”

The Golden Girls TV show ran from 1985 to 1992 and reruns continue to air.
