Retired teacher continues teaching music to elementary students
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – David Ostrovitz, or “Mr. O” as students know him, was a guitar instructor for 34 years at Manzano High School in Albuquerque. He’s retired now, but each week he goes to Tomasita Elementary. There, students in a 4th grade class experience music from a Ukulele with Mr. O as their teacher. In 2019, Ostrovitz was inducted into the APS hall of honor.
