New trio of restaurants opens near MSU campus
MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - A new quick dining option opens in Mankato, filling the space of the former Costanza’s Pizzeria near Minnesota State - Mankato’s campus. Opening its doors this morning, a combined Cinnabon-Auntie Anne’s Pretzel’s and Jamba Juice venue joins the U-Square plaza located on the corner of Stadium road and Warren street.
‘Songs on the Lawn’ concert line-up announced for 21st year
MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - Get ready for more Thursday’s filled with toe-tapping good music and food from local vendors as Songs on the Lawn is back for a 21st year. Greater Mankato Growth announced its 21st annual Songs on the Lawn, a series of free summer get-togethers that showcase the region’s wide variety of local music, entertainment, and food. The weekly events take place each Thursday in June from 11 am to 1 pm at Civic Center Plaza in Mankato.

Run New Prague 5K, color run Saturday
When hundreds of people begin a 5K run Saturday, May 4, they’ll be among the final runners who cross the finish line in the 39th installment of the popular event. The 5K race will begin at 10:30 a.m. on W Main Street in New Prague. Runners can register at Central Ave North (Central Plaza) with the start line located only a block away, said Brooke Sticha, the New Prague Area Chamber of Commerce’s executive director. Packet pick-up and same-day registration will be available in Central Plaza (N Central Avenue) the morning of the race. The race will end in Memorial Park.
