Tanner to give keynote at United Way case management summit
The United Way of Adams County Community Building Council Poverty team will host a Case Management Summit on June 26 at the Quincy Senior Center from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. St. Francis Solanus Parish picnic on June 8 to offer food, music, raffles and kids’ games
QUINCY — The annual St. Francis Solanus Parish picnic will be from 5 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, June 8, at 1720 College. The picnic will host a variety of food and beverages, live music, cash raffle, silent auction, basket raffle, dunk tank, kids’ games, face painting, train ride, bounce houses and more. The Heidelberg Band will play from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Eleven will take the stage from 7:30 to11:30 p.m.
One person injured Monday in traffic accident at intersection of 12th Street, U.S. 24
QUINCY — One person was injured in a two-vehicle traffic crash on Monday. Deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department responded to the crash (the time was not noted in a press release) at the intersection of 12th Street and U.S. 24. Matthew Fleck was driving a black 2019 Dodge minivan south on U.S. 24. Angela Hendrix was stopped in her black 2021 Honda passenger car at the intersection of 12th Street and U.S. 24.
