One person injured in shooting in town of Pittsfield, Brown County Sheriff's Office says
PITTSFIELD - A 16-year-old was injured in a shooting Wednesday night in the town of Pittsfield. The Brown County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting around 9:40 p.m. in Pittsfield. Officers used armored vehicles to contact people at the residence, according to the sheriff's office. Deputies said one person was shot. The sheriff's office didn't say where the shooting occurred.

Quincy man facing attempted murder charge for stabbing woman picks up another felony for punching jail sergeant
QUINCY — A Quincy man already in the Adams County Jail facing a charge of attempted first-degree murder picked up another felony the day after he was arrested. Thomas Delcour, 34, appeared with public defender John Citro in Adams County Circuit Court on Monday morning before Circuit Judge Zach Boren. Delcour has been charged with aggravated battery of a peace officer, a Class 2 felony.
Illinois family pivots to feeder cattle business
